HAVAS ADVERTISING (France) has concluded an agreement with the American agency SNYDER COMMUNICATIONS (turnover of USD 443 million for the first nine months of 1999 with stock market capitalisation of USD 1.5 billion) under which it will buy SNYDER in a share swap worth EUR 2.1 billion. The acquisition will bring HAVAS ADVERTISING into the world's fourth-ranking communication consulting firm, with annual pro forma income of around EUR 2.2 billion, turnover of more than EUR 20 billion and...
