Agricultural organisations strongly protest plans to finance reconstruction of Kosovo out of CAP funds

Brussels, 21/02/2000 (Agence Europe) - COPA (Agricultural Organisations in the European Union) and Cogeca (Agricultural Cooperatives in the EU) have announced in a press release their indignation upon learning that the European Commission intends to finance aid to Kosovo in the 2001 budget by "taking away EUR 300 million from the agriculture budget". The two organisations state that this would be tantamount to calling into question the decisions of the Berlin Summit on the agriculture...
