With many criticisms and amendments Parliament approves convention on mutual assistance in criminal affairs

Strasbourg, 21/02/2000 (Agence Europe) - Consulted in a single reading last week, the European Parliament followed its rapporteur Antonio Di Pietro (Italian, Liberal Group) and approved, with amendments, to the draft Council legislation on the convention concerning mutual legal assistance in criminal affairs between EU Member States.
