ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) pharmaceuticals

The Swiss group ROCHE is to build a factory for pre-mixed vitamins and minerals, intended for the pharmaceuticals and food industries, in Isando in South Africa, which will be operational in 2001. ROCHE's "fine chemical products and vitamins" division made over CHF 3.6 billion in 1999 with 7,500 employed.
