American business circles invited the EU to weigh the consequences of an amendment of the Directive on product liability

Brussels, 20/01/2000 (Agence Europe) - In reaction to the European Commission Green Paper published last July to launch a huge consulation on the revision of Directive relating to product liability (85/374/EEC), American business circles warn the EU against the danger of modifying the regime without giving thought, which, in their eyes, as its merits, compared to the system in the United States.
