ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) glass

Britain's PILKINGTON and Germany's INTERPANE INTERNATIONAL GLAS are setting up a joint venture in France that will build a glass processing factory. It is expected to be operational by end 2001 or early 2002, with a workforce of 200 within three years and production capacity of around 700 tonnes a year. The two partners will invest a total of around GBP 100 million.
