Portuguese Presidency presents its plan for Lisbon Summit

Brussels / Lisbon, 17/01/2000 (Agence Europe) - Portuguese Prime Minister Antonio Guterres presented, on Monday as planned, the document of the Portuguese Presidency of the Council intended for the Extraordinary Summit on "Employment,, Economic Reforms and Social Cohesion - towards a Europe based on innovation and knowledge"., to be held in Lisbon on 23 and 24 March (see EUROPE of 13 January, p.7). The priority subjects of the document are: coordnating efforts to achieve a new strategic goal...
