03/07/2026 (Agence Europe) – The spokesperson for the European External Action Service (EEAS), Anouar El Anouni, strongly condemned, on Friday 3 July, the terrorist attack carried out the previous day at the Musheyreyyeh café, in central Damascus, which killed at least nine people. “The European Union reaffirms its commitment in support of a peaceful and inclusive transition in Syria and its rejection of all forms of violence”, he underlined in a statement. Mr El Anouni promised that the EU would continue to work with the Syrian transitional government in the fight against terrorism. (CG)
