MEPs adopt their position on revision of Carcinogenic, Mutagenic and Reprotoxic substances Directive

On Wednesday 15 April, the European Parliament’s Committee on Employment and Social Affairs (EMPL) approved new exposure limit values for chemicals used in the battery, steel, chemical and textile industries, by 45 votes to none with 10 abstentions, under the 6th revision of the Carcinogenic, Mutagenic and Reprotoxic substances Directive (CMRD).
