European Commission proposes autonomous and permanent legal framework for EUSPA

On Tuesday 7 April, the European Commission adopted a proposal for a regulation to transform the European Space Programme Agency (EUSPA) into a European Union Space Services Agency. 

This proposal aims to guarantee the continuity of the Agency’s operations beyond the EU’s multiannual financial frameworks (MFFs) by providing it with an autonomous and permanent legal framework (see EUROPE B13822A27).
