07/04/2026 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 7 April, the European Commission launched a new call for entries for the ‘Youth4Regions’ competition. Created in 2017, this programme is aimed at budding journalists aged between 18 and 30, who want to discover the world of European journalism and the action of the European Union in the regions, through cohesion policy funds. This year, entries are being accepted in four categories: written feature journalism, video journalism, audio journalism, and photojournalism. The selected candidates will take part in a week of immersion in Brussels from 10 to 16 October, including workshops on cohesion policy led by experts and study visits to media outlets specialising in European affairs and to EU institutions. Applications are open until 7 July. More information on the European Commission website: https://aeur.eu/f/lgd (JV)
