Unlike the EU/Mercosur agreement, the end of negotiations on the free trade treaty with India seems to satisfy a greater number of MEPs, who recognise the urgent need to diversify the EU’s trade relations. They discussed the issue during a debate at the plenary session in Strasbourg on Wednesday 21 January.
