EU definitively adopts anti-dumping duty on Chinese and Indian barium carbonate

On Monday 12 January, the European Commission imposed a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of barium carbonate from China and India.

The anti-dumping investigation was launched in December 2024, following a complaint lodged by German chemical specialistKandelium Group GmbH (see EUROPE B13550A23), which was followed by the application of provisional anti-dumping duties on these imports from August 2025.
