04/12/2025 (Agence Europe) – The total value of trade that has passed through the ‘solidarity lanes’ linking Ukraine to the European Union since May 2022 is estimated at around 247 billion euros as of October 2025, according to the latest figures published by the European Commission on Wednesday 3 December (see EUROPE 13695/29). Of this total value, around €68 billion represents Ukrainian exports. The total value of imports into Ukraine is estimated at around €179 billion. Since May 2022, the ‘solidarity lanes’ have enabled Ukraine to import around 90 million tonnes of goods, such as fuel, vehicles and fertilisers, as well as military and humanitarian aid. For its part, Ukraine was able to export around 96 million tonnes of agricultural products, including 89 million tonnes of cereals and oilseeds, and around 106 million tonnes of non-agricultural products, including ores and steel.
