06/11/2025 (Agence Europe) – In an article mentioning the adoption by the European Parliament’s Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE) on Wednesday 5 November of an opinion on the inclusion of a 90% reduction target for greenhouse gas emissions by 2040 (see EUROPE B13746A2), Agence Europe falsely stated that the final opinion rejected the inclusion of international carbon credits at a level of 3% to achieve the 90% target.
