PFAS - eight EU health associations warn of lack of specific assessment for medicines

On Friday 31 October, eight European healthcare associations, including EFPIA, Medicines for Europe and AnimalhealthEurope, expressed their “serious concerns” at the lack of a specific assessment of the impact of ECHA’s proposed restriction on PFASs (per- and polyfluoroalkylated substances) for human and veterinary medicinal products.
