European Commission to hold talks with Poland, Hungary and Slovakia regarding lifting their bans on Ukrainian imports

On Friday 31 October, European Commission spokesman Olof Gill explained that the EU would be holding talks with Poland, Hungary and Slovakia, Member States that do not intend to lift their import restrictions on agricultural products despite the entry into force of the revised deep and comprehensive free trade agreement between the EU and Ukraine (see EUROPE B13736A20).
