EU sanctions two entities and two individuals for their ties to armed groups

18/07/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 18 July, the Council of the EU adopted restrictive measures against the Alkhaleej Bank, which “plays an essential role in financing Rapid Support Forces (RSF) operations” in Sudan, and against the Red Rock Mining Company, which, according to the EU, is a “source of financing for the armed groups at the root of the Sudanese conflict, in particular the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF)”.
