European Commission presents documents to support national transposition of Energy Performance of Buildings Directive

On Monday 30 June, the European Commission presented a delegated regulation, an implementing regulation, and a guidance document detailing several targeted themes to support EU countries in implementing the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) (see EUROPE B13415A27).

This revised legislation came into force on 28 May 2024 and must be transposed at national level by 29 May 2026.
