EASA recommends not operating in Iranian, Iraqi, Israeli, Jordanian and Lebanese airspace

16/06/2025 (Agence Europe) – The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) recommended against operating in Iranian, Iraqi, Israeli, Jordanian and Lebanese airspace, regardless of flight level, on Friday 13 June. This recommendation comes in the wake of Israel’s military strike against sites on Iranian territory and Iran’s retaliatory attacks (see EUROPE B13659A14).
