European Commission is looking for 60 members for its AI expert panel

16/06/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 16 June, the European Commission announced that it was setting up a scientific panel of independent experts to examine the implementation of the ‘AI Act’. To set it up, it is seeking 60 scientists for a renewable 24-month term. Applicants should have expertise in general-purpose AI (‘GPAI’) models and systems as well as AI impacts, model evaluation, risk mitigation, etc. They should also have a PhD or equivalent experience.
