In London, European Commission and EU countries pledge €522 million in humanitarian funding

At an international aid conference for Sudan held in London on Tuesday 15 April, following two years of armed conflict between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces, the European Commission reaffirmed its commitment to mobilise €282 million in aid in 2025, as announced on 10 April (see EUROPE B13619A20).

In addition, Germany and France announced €125 million and €50 million respectively on Tuesday. Further funding has been pledged by Austria, Denmark, Spain,...
