15/04/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 15 April, the Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER), in its report on the gas transmission tariff structure for Lithuania for the national regulatory authority (NRA) VERT, found that the simplified gas pricing method “is compliant with the requirements on transparency, non-discrimination and volume risk”. The report therefore assesses the compliance of the proposed reference price methodology with the requirements of the Network Code on Harmonised Transmission Tariff Structures. ACER recommends that the flow-based charge is recalculated annually, full compliance of non-EU entry and exit points with the network code and an appropriate allocation of regional network costs, in line with EU rules.
