Call for interest to reward establishments for implementing European Student Card

07/04/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 3 April, the European Commission opened a call for interest to designate the ‘European Student Card Initiative (ESCI) Champions’ for the period 2025-2027. The aim is to reward the progress made by higher education institutions and organisations holding an ‘Erasmus Charter’ for higher education in digitising student mobility, particularly through the ‘Erasmus Without Paper’ (EWP) platform and the European Student Card. The winners will gain greater visibility, benefit from communication tools and take part in national and European events to share their experience. Interested organisations must submit their applications by 16 May 2025, and the results will be announced mid-June. The ESCI 2025-2027 Champions kick-off meeting will take place on 9 September in Göteborg (Sweden), alongside the European Higher Education Conference (EAIE).
