Alessandro Di Biasi, new EU Force Commander for EUNAVFOR Med Irini

26/03/2025 (Agence Europe) – The ambassadors of the EU Member States within the Political and Security Committee have decided to appoint Captain Alessandro Di Biasi of Italy as EU Force Commander for the EUNAVFOR Med Irini operation from 4 April 2025, according to a document dated 21 March.
