European Environment Agency denounces rising consumption levels of textiles and footwear in EU

26/03/2025 (Agence Europe) – In a report published on Wednesday 26 March, the European Environment Agency (EEA) found that Europeans are buying and discarding more clothing, footwear and other textiles than ever before. In its assessment, the EEA analyses the latest available data on the circularity of the EU textiles value chain.
