On Thursday 20 March, the European Commission launched a European energy storage inventory, the first of its kind to present real-time data on all forms of clean energy storage solutions in Europe.
It reveals that Europe’s current total operational capacity is around 66 GW, and that planned projects could double this to 132 GW by 2035.
