Negotiators from the European Parliament and the Polish Presidency of the Council of the EU were unable to make much progress on Wednesday 19 March on the revision of the European Works Councils (EWC) Directive, according to sources.
With technical work still to be done, the next trilogue meeting, scheduled for 6 May, could well be the last, these sources added.
