21/03/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 19 March, the European Commission imposed a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of glass fibre yarns from China, by means of an implementing regulation. This is a lightweight reinforcement material used in the automotive, electrical, electronics and aerospace industries. The glass fibre yarns are important for EU supply chains. The European Commission is of the opinion that Chinese overcapacity in this sector was causing injury to EU manufacturers. It is therefore introducing a tariff that varies from 26.3% to 56.1% of the net border price, depending on the company. Read the implementing regulation: https://aeur.eu/f/g1x (LM)
