EU condemns arbitrary detentions of UN staff

27/01/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Saturday 25 January, the European Union strongly condemned the arbitrary detentions carried out by the Houthi rebels against seven members of the United Nations staff working in Yemen. Through a spokeswoman, the EU has joined UN Secretary-General António Guterres in calling for the immediate and unconditional release of all those detained, including members of NGOs and diplomatic missions. “These detentions are endangering the provision of urgently...
