17/01/2025 (Agence Europe) – The winners of the Music Moves Europe Awards 2025, co-financed by the EU’s Creative Europe programme to reward emerging European artists, have been announced at the Eurosonic Noorderslag festival in Groningen (Netherlands). Selected from 15 entries, the winners were Kingfishr (Ireland), Naomi Sharon (Netherlands), Night Tapes (Estonia), Judeline (Spain) and Uche YARA (Austria). The Grand Jury Award was presented to Yamê (France). With the highest number of votes among voters from all over Europe, Judeline (Spain) won the Public Choice Award, presented by the Commissioner for Culture, Glenn Micallef. While each winner received a prize of €10,000, the winner of the Grand Jury Award also received a cheque for €5,000 to help organise a more sustainable tour, while the winner of the Public Choice Award received €5,000.
