17/01/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 16 January, NATO’s Supreme Allied Commander Transformation, Admiral Pierre Vandier, announced that the Joint Analysis Training and Education Centre (JATEC), approved by the North Atlantic Council on 16 December, would be launched in mid-February. “We will get there in Bydgoszcz, in Poland - the first tools to make this centre work”, he announced at the end of the 192nd session of the Chiefs of Defence Staff Military Committee. “JATEC is about merging the best of NATO warfighting experience with civilian experience because it’s a military civilian centre in contact with Ukraine issues and their long-lasting efforts to prevail”, Mr Vandier detailed, adding that NATO was going to set up programmes to develop skills and capabilities so that Ukraine could win the war.
