05/12/24 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday, 3 December, the European Commission launched a new call for proposals – which has a budget of €5 million – as part of Music Moves Europe, the framework for the European Commission’s initiatives and actions aiming to support the European music sector. The purpose of this call is to support the green transition and the environmental sustainability of the European music sector. It is a matter of selecting a consortium responsible for carrying out several strategic actions: assessing the sector’s needs so as to identify the practices that require change, mapping best greening practices, introducing training and awareness-raising campaigns, and [providing] financial support for music organisations adopting innovative and sustainable practices.
