Two EU-chartered aircraft deliver 50 tonnes of vital equipment to Beirut

20/11/2024 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 19 November, the European Commissioner for Crisis Management, Janez Lenarčič, announced on the X network the arrival in Beirut of 50 tonnes of essential health supplies and shelters for people affected by the violence in Lebanon (see EUROPE B13506A2). The supplies, provided by the European Union’s humanitarian partners, were flown in on two aircraft as part of the air bridge set up by the EU at the beginning of October (see EUROPE B13516A16)....
