EU opens investigation into circumvention of anti-dumping duty on certain Chinese electrode systems

21/10/24 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 18 October, the European Commission announced that it was opening an investigation into the circumvention of an anti-dumping measure on imports of certain Chinese graphite electrode systems. These products are used in the manufacture of electric furnaces. The European Carbon and Graphite Association submitted a request for a review in September.
