21/10/24 (Agence Europe) – COP16 on biodiversity began on Monday 21 October in Cali, Colombia. It will run until 1 November, with the main objectives of adopting and finalising a plan to monitor the implementation of the Kunming-Montreal global framework – adopted at COP15 in 2022 – and mobilising financial resources to make it a reality.
