European Commission allocates more than €380 million to 133 projects to support green transition under LIFE project

More than €380 million has been allocated to 133 new projects across Europe to support the European ‘Green Deal’, under the LIFE programme, the European Commission said on Monday 21 October.

This financial package represents more than half of the €574 million total investment needs for these projects, with the remainder coming from national, regional and local governments, public-private partnerships, and civil society organisations.
