EU adopts sanctions against five individuals and one entity responsible for destabilising actions

On Monday 14 October, the Council of the EU adopted restrictive measures against five individuals and one entity responsible for actions destabilising the Republic of Moldova.

They are the governor of the autonomous territorial unit of Gagauzia, “responsible for promoting separatism in this region”, Evghenia Guţul, her deputy and media relations adviser, Mihail Vlah, the deputy head of the region’s foreign affairs department, Iurii Cuzneţov, and the deputy chairman of the executive...
