14/10/24 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 14 October, the European Commission published an implementing regulation imposing a provisional anti-dumping duty on imports of glass fibre yarn from China. The sector’s representative in the EU filed a complaint in January 2024, which contained sufficient evidence for the Commission to launch an investigation. It provisionally concluded that these imports constituted dumping, justifying a provisional measure and the registration of the imports in order to decide on a possible retroactive tariff. Henan Guangyuan New Material Co, Ltd. is subject to a rate of 26.3%, while all other companies are subject to the maximum rate of 56.1%. See the implementing regulation: https://aeur.eu/f/dvw (LM)
