European Commission launches consultation on European securitisation framework

On Wednesday 9 October, the European Commission launched a public consultation to assess the effectiveness of the European securitisation framework. This framework is designed to support the implementation of the Capital Markets Union (CMU) and the Savings and Investment Union, promoted by the President-elect, Ursula von der Leyen (see EUROPE B13485A12).
