EU Council adopts agreement on cyber resilience

10/10/24 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 10 October, the EU Member States endorsed the text of the provisional agreement reached in November 2023 on the CyberResilience Act (CRA)(see EUROPE B13305A1). The CRA is designed to eliminate vulnerabilities in products with digital functionalities (such as connected home cameras, fridges, televisions and toys) by introducing mandatory cyber security requirements for their design, development, production and availability.
