Eurostat records five-year improvement in energy efficiency in EU homes

01/10/2024 (Agence Europe) – A new publication from Eurostat on Tuesday 1 October reveals that in 2023, 25.5% of the EU’s population aged 16 or over were living in a home whose energy efficiency had been improved in the last five years. It was mainly people who were not at risk of poverty or social exclusion who have benefited from this improvement, with 27.5% of this population saying they live in a dwelling whose energy efficiency had been improved, compared with 17.8% of those at...
