Euro area inflation estimated at 1.8% in September

01/10/24 (Agence Europe) – Euro area annual inflation is estimated at 1.8% in September, down from 2.2% in August, according to a flash estimate published by the Statistical Office of the European Union (Eurostat) on Tuesday 1 October. The highest rates were recorded in Belgium (4.5%), the Netherlands (3.3%) and Estonia (3.2%), while the lowest were observed in Ireland (0.2%), Lithuania (0.4%) and Slovenia (0.7%).
