25/09/24 (Agence Europe) – The Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) has opened a public consultation, from 23 September to 21 October, to support its assessment of the draft statutory documents for the new ‘European Network of Network Operators for Hydrogen’ (ENNOH), an independent body required by the 2024 gas package (see EUROPE 13455/26) to facilitate cooperation between EU hydrogen transmission network operators. ACER is encouraging organisations representing all stakeholders, in particular hydrogen system users, to respond to the consultation so that the Agency can provide an opinion to the European Commission by 30 December 2024. Submitted on 30 August by the future hydrogen transmission system operators, these documents include draft statutes, a list of members and draft rules of procedure. The European Commission will then issue its own opinion on the documents. To see the consultation: https://aeur.eu/f/dk9 (PLD)
