21/06/24 (Agence Europe) – The Task Force on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) and the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG) jointly published a mapping of the correspondence between the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) and the information and measures recommended by the TNFD on Thursday 20 June (see EUROPE 13423/20). This mapping highlights that the 14 TNFD-recommended disclosures are reflected in the ESRSs, showing the high level of correspondence that has been achieved. EFRAG and TNFD have been working closely together for more than two years to maximise consistency between the ESRS and TNFD recommendations, which were developed in parallel. TNFD and EFRAG thus share: - their approach to materiality and reporting pillars, which are governance, strategy, risk management and measures and objectives.
