European Ministers are due to take note of a progress report on the draft Directive on driving disqualifications, without discussion, at the Transport Council meeting in Luxembourg on Tuesday 18 June.

In effect, the Member States have not reached a compromise on this text, as some wish to adopt a different approach. According to a European source contacted by Agence Europe on Tuesday 11 June, Austria, Germany, Poland, Lithuania and Ireland expressed a scrutiny reservation at a group...
