16/05/2024 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 16 May, the European Patent Office (EPO) announced the names of the twelve finalist teams and individuals for its European Inventor Award 2024, selected by an international jury in four different categories: “Industry”, ”Research”, “Non-EPO Countries” and “SMEs”. The finalists come from more than 10 countries and are responsible for technological advances in a wide range of fields. The EPO is now offering the public the opportunity to vote online for their favourite inventor, who will win the People’s Prize.
