On Thursday 2 May, the European Commission announced that it had adopted an amendment to the Temporary Crisis and Transition Framework, which will extend certain provisions of the framework by 6 months, after consulting the European States on 11 April (see EUROPE B13391A17). More specifically, the decision will see a limited prolongation of the provisions of section 2.1 of the framework concerning the primary agricultural sector for the fisheries and aquaculture sectors.
