European Commission is increasing its support for EURIZON grants for researchers in Ukraine to €4.5 million

02/05/2024 (Agence Europe)On Thursday 2 May, the European Commission announced that it had tripled the initial budget for the initiative to support the mobility of Ukrainian researchers under the EURIZON grants programme, the European network for the development of new horizons for research and innovation under Horizon Europe. This budget will reach €4.5 million (it was initially set at €1.5 million) and will be used to support the “Remote Research Grants for Ukrainian Researchers”, launched in April 2023 and implemented with European research infrastructures. Among the benefits expected for Ukrainian researchers are the possibility of relaunching their research projects, developing professional contacts and using infrastructures outside Ukraine. Sixty-five projects led by 324 Ukrainian scientists will benefit from the grants programme. Link to the EURIZON page: https://aeur.eu/f/c1m (EV)
