On Thursday 21 March, the Court of Justice of the European Union handed down a judgment in which it ruled that an air passenger is deemed to have accepted reimbursement of a ticket in the form of a travel voucher when he or she has filled in a form to this effect on the carrier's website, thereby precluding reimbursement of the ticket in monetary form (Case C-76/23).
